I tend to keep my bedding very simple and white, and was looking for a runner to add a little warmth to the bed. This throw folds over perfectly and is a perfect width for my California king sized bed. I usually use it as a runner but will certainly open it up in the colder months as necessary. It's very good quality - the only issue is that my cat loves it a bit too much.
