It really doesn't matter if you live in a chateau or a cottage, in a vast loft apartment or a tiny flat, it is still your home. Here at Helen Moore, we are interior fanatics so love the idea of dressing the home for winter, here are our 3 top tips for making this winter even cosier.

1.Surround yourself with things that make you feel comfortable and happy For some that may mean that everything has to be chosen to fit a particular design scheme, for others the process may be more organic or even haphazard!

Make it your own by finding the softest chair, a painting you love, a lamp that gives a warm glow then add the finishing touches....a few cushions a faux fur throw perhaps? 3. Create Space White is a wonderful backdrop, making a room light airy and calming, but the addition of textures and colour can be transformative. As autumn turns to winter we start to think about how to dress the home for Christmas and this is the perfect time of year to make a change. It might be a new paint colour or some soft cushions, but there's still time for a complete makeover....so tempting!
