2018 Poppy Appeal

This year, 2018, marks the centenary of the end of the First World War and at this time we remember and thank the victims of all wars and conflicts. The work of the Royal British Legion continues to make a huge difference to the lives of servicemen and women by providing support for the Armed Forces, veterans and their families. We’re delighted to say that once again Helen Moore has been approved by the Royal British Legion as a fund raiser for their annual poppy appeal. Following on from the campaign that we launched two years ago we have been busy making tiny Crimson Poppy faux fur pom poms with green felt leaves to honour the iconic red poppy of Remembrance Day. In our first year of fundraising in 2016 customers bought every poppy we made and together we raised £2,500, so although a pom pom might seem a bit frivolous or fluffy it can bring about great things! This year we have designed another faux fur pom pom Poppy clip and once again we will donate 100% of the profit from the sale of our faux fur poppies.
