Dress The Home For Christmas
Planning the Christmas table is one of the true pleasures of this time of year. It is lovely to hold with tradition and use family heirlooms and favourites, but it is also a time to try something new and to plan ahead! Choosing new candles, napkins and table decorations can transform your kitchen or dining room and you can have so much fun doing it.
Red is a warm and vibrant colour at Christmas and we have a lovely array of tablecloths, placemats and napkins in our recycled Revival Collection. It is the natural companion of spruce green and Nordic white and looks really lovely with branches and leaves from the garden. Picking some Bay, Rosemary or Eucalyptus makes a lovely change from Holly and the scent is wonderful!
Red can also be a great colour for clashing with other brights to create an unusual and striking colour scheme, try mixing it up with a Christmas Red tablecloth and colourful baubles in pinks and orange like these papier-mache decorations from Gudrun Sjoden
For the minimalist at Christmas...is there such a thing?!.... our Revival Collection also offers some cool greys and blues as an alternative to the festive red. Contrasting tablemats and napkins are a good way to break up the red theme and inject some contrasting colour.
Faux Fur always looks fabulous at Christmas - so soft and warm. Our lovely Christmas Stockings, Skins and Comforters add the perfect finishing touches.
Happy Christmas from everyone at Helen Moore!
